Info: The birth of Valter Lobo’s musical project coincides with the moment he became aware of what the world is, of the values and feelings that drive human beings, and of the way he fits into this environment. Valter Lobo lives in a valley in the north of Portugal. A lawyer for lost causes. A living-room musician. When there is so much to say and one walks on top of dreams, music and words arise naturally. These are sounds that can be heard in bucolic landscapes or empty cities, with a pronounced melancholy. They are sounds meant to be listened to alone, from the inside of a fogged-up window. Or with a true love. Sounds of gentle anesthesia and hope. All songs share the same origin: a guitar and a voice expressing what the mind is thinking. In the winter of 2011, his first song was released: “Eu não tenho quem me abrace neste Inverno”. In May 2012, he released his first EP, Inverno , which propelled him onto the playlists of major author-driven programs on national radio stations. His inclusion in the Novos Talentos Fnac 2012 compilation and his participation in the Festival Novos Talentos helped establish himsef. His second album Mediterrâneo was released in 2016, and was followed by Primeira Parte de Um Assalto in 2022, and more recently Melancólico Dançante in 2025.
