Info: EU.CLIDES was born in Cape Verde in 1996 and grew up in Portugal. He had contact with the guitar early on, at home and also at church where he saw his father play and sing. At the age of 8, in Aveiro, he entered the conservatory of music where he began his studies of classical guitar. It was later on, in 2016, that his passion for music took him to Paris, where he began an intense journey as a guitarist and was able to meet various artists and musicians from all over the world. The city lights lit up for EU.CLIDES and it was then he had his first tour with the Senegalese group, Daara J Family and later on with the Cape Verdean artist Mayra Andrade. After these 4 years, he decided to focus on his solo project, where he lets his cultural DNA speak louder. In the spring of 2020, he releases his first single, “Terra-Mãe”, where he makes an homage to freedom and to 25 de Abril. It was followed by “Ira Para Quê?” and finally he was featured on “Tempo Torto”, from the portuguese artist Branko. In 2021 he released his first EP, "Reservado".
