| Info: Alpines is a UK duo based in Kingston upon Thames in South London, made up of Bob Matthews on keyboards and Catherine Pockson on vocals, together they make a heady and ethereal mix of synth fuelled electro pop. The duo released their debut EP ‘Night Drive’ on March 2010. The EP features the songs “Drive” and Ice and “Arrows”. “Drive” was used by Rankin in a video for fashion designer Hannah Marshall. A clip of Alpines' track Saviour was used in an advert for the BBC Three programme Bringing Up Britain in March 2011. In 2011 and 2012, their tracks "Cocoon" and "Fossilised" were used during episodes of the US crime series CSI. The duo is currently working with producer Craig Silvey on their debut album. | |
